In this new, multi-family residential development in Downtown Brooklyn, our aim was to honor the original character of the historic neighborhood. Envisioning spaces that were both functional and considerate, we paid close attention to detail: architectural layering, classic moldings, and custom hardware, including elegant door knockers in the entryways and weathered brass shower fixtures. We designed the facade of the building in addition to the interiors, and in each unit, created moments of warmth within a neutral, airy color palette. Chevron marble tile and Bardiglio Nuvolato stone adds movement to the bathrooms, and in the bright open kitchens, shelving provides room for organization and personalization—two essential factors for feeling at home.
