For fashion designer Lela Rose, a simple storefront just doesn’t fit. Her creations—including her Western-inspired capsule, Lela Rose Ranch—are warm, playful, and alive with pattern and personality. Drawing inspiration from her collections, we helped Lela create a one-of-a-kind storefront in her home state of Texas. The reimagined Dallas store needed to feel inviting—not just for shopping, but also for having fun. Inside the relatively small space, we embraced bold, unexpected touches, like a swing used as a display table, and a curved checkout counter that pulls double duty as a tequila bar. The store’s dressing rooms feature terra-cotta breeze block partitions and floating metal bird mobiles by artist Catherine Hicks, reflecting Lela’s family’s love of birds and her commitment to thoughtful and beautiful details.
The changing rooms walls are made from Ventana
Breezeblock from Clay Imports and have custom
oak inserts to create additional display options.

embroidered by artist William Storms.
A swing display table hovers above a custom
designed mosaic floor from Heritage Tile.
The banquette back and hanging racks
are suspended from Veg-Tan belting
leather from Tandy Leather.
A nook with Denin Wallpaper from Kufri
displays a dress from Lela's collection
and ceramic cactus from artist Carl Block.
Hanging from the oak inserts in the breezeblock
are sculptural birds commissioned from
